Katherine Pogrebniak wins Churchill Scholarship

Computer Science major Katherine Pogrebniak is one of this year’s recipients of a Churchill Scholarship.  Awarded by the Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States, Churchill Scholarships are granted to students wishing to pursue graduate studies in science, mathematics, or engineering with "exceptional academic talent and outstanding achievement".  Recipients live at Churchill College while studying for a year at the University of Cambridge.  Pogrebniak is pursuing a career in medicine and medical research.
