David Blei wins the ACM Infosys Foundation Award

The recipient of the 2013 ACM – Infosys Foundation Award in the Computing Sciences is David M. Blei, Princeton University. Professor Blei’s  citation follows:

For pioneering the area of topic modeling, which has had profound influence on machine learning foundations as well as industrial practice.

Professor Blei will be presented with the ACM-Infosys Foundation Award at the June 21, 2014 ACM Awards Banquet in San Francisco.
